Melted chocolate snowmen - easy, adorable, and a great way to get kids into the kitchen!

Just a quick one for you today I’m afraid – a quick blog post, but also a quick and easy recipe – melted chocolate snowmen! The perfect Christmas dessert, and the cutest little things I’ve made in ages. If you have kids, these would be the perfect way to get them involved in the kitchen this winter – and if you don’t have kids, you can make them anyway, and then lick the spoon without anyone else to compete with.

I made these melted chocolate snowmen for the Wayfair blog, so you can find the full tutorial over there, but they’re pretty easy to figure out anyway! Each snowman is made from a puddle of melted white chocolate, topped with half a marshmallow (make sure you use vegetarian ones if you need to!), and decorated to look like a melted snowman.

My favourite thing about this recipe: the worse your decorating skills are, the better and more tragic your melted snowmen will look. It might even be worth having a glass of wine or two before decorating…

Anyway, that’s your lot before Christmas! I’m taking a few days off to eat lots of chocolate, drink lots of wine, and most importantly, relaaaaax. See you after Christmas! Have a great one if you’re celebrating!

  1. OMG this reminds me so much of an American comic strip called “Calvin and Hobbes” about a little boy and the “adventures” he had with his “stuffed” tiger. Calvin made Snowmen House of Horrors sculptures and other macabre scenes and I know he did one with melting snowmen so I laughed out loud when I saw this recipe!
