Happy new year!! This is one of my favourite times of year – a chance for a fresh start. After the indulgence of the Christmas period, a salad and an alcohol-free beverage couldn’t sound more tempting to me.
The major news from my house this month (aside from the whole Christmas thing) is that we have a new addition! As well as me, my husband, and our lovely little pet rat, our house now contains this little bundle of fun:
That’s Pip, and she’s 12 weeks old. Yes, she’s utterly adorable. Yes, she’s unbelievably tiny. And yes, she’s a complete handful.
In between cleaning wee off the carpet, trying to make Pip stand on the cold ground outside rather than climbing onto my feet, and having plenty of puppy cuddles, I did manage to get a few vegetarian recipes out in December! As you might expect, they were almost all Christmas-related, since I know that Christmas dinner is something that vegetarians sometimes struggle with.
